Welcome!

Hello everyone,

In the midst of the global pandemic of Covid-19, things are changing rapidly as our governing leaders lead us in a response to the crisis.  Hour by hour, new information and directives are coming from the President, CDC and World Health Organization. We thank you for your patience as we consider creative ways to live and act as the church together even as we limit the amount of face to face social contact we share.

Romans 13: 1-2 says, "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves."

As the Church, we want to honor our leaders and heed to their discernment and wisdom.  For this reason, and for the protection of the most vulnerable in our body, we will be doing church remotely for the foreseeable future.

This blog will be the place to view our sermons, find announcements and prayer requests, read posts, and generally stay connected to the happenings of New Journey.

For all, this is a season of uncertainty, and for many, that produces anxiety.  Be encouraged by the Apostle Peter's words.  "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."--1 Peter 5:7

I want to share with you a link to an article by pastor MIGUEL NÚÑEZ, who also happens to be an expert in infectious diseases.

The article is now a week old, so some of the statistics are already outdated, but I still believe it is helpful for those who want to better understand Covid-19 and how we as Christians can respond.

We love you and are praying for you.
